The Lives of Spaces exhibition will open on Thursday 11 February in the Ormeau Baths Gallery in Belfast. The Lives of Spaces began as an installation at the 11th Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2008 and has been touring ever since. The exhibition contains 9 film based projects, each exploring the central role of space in society, from domestic to public and social to personal.

Also exhibited are a series of photographs entitled ‘The Lives of Spaces - Scenes from the Palazzon Giustinian Lolin’ by artist Fiona Hackett, who was asked by the curators to capture the unique atmosphere of the exhibition in its original home at the Venice Biennale.
