The Royal Institute of British Architects  (RIBA) will present ‘The Lives of Space: Inside Irish Architecture’ during the month of April in their gallery in Portland Place, London. This will be the final opportunity to see Ireland’s fascinating entry to the 11th Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2008. The exhibition involves new collaborations and experiments, which open up new ways of envisaging, designing and understanding space.

The Lives of Spaces, curated by Nathalie Weadick and Hugh Campbell, was Ireland’s exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008. It was initiated by Culture Ireland, in partnership with the Arts Council and funded by the Irish Architecture Foundation and the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland. The London leg of The Lives of Spaces tour is sponsored by the RIBA, the Irish Architecture Foundation, Culture Ireland, the Arts Council and Sisks.

Curators Nathalie Weadick and Hugh Campbell will give a talk on the exhibition on Friday 9 April at 1.30pm.
