13.02.17-14.02.17

The National Housing Conference is a biennial conference organised by the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government (DHPCLG) and the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI). It is considered an important think-in around issues concerning housing procurement, supply and design.

The conference, first held in 1969, brings together a wide range of policymakers, practitioners, architects, planners and other stakeholders to explore key housing issues of the day. The conference will also be the occasion for the presentation by Minister Simon Coveney of the RIAI Silver Medal for Housing– the country’s premier award for residential architecture. RIAI Silver Medal for Housing is Sponsored by Smart Storage. Running alongside the conference will be an exhibition of RIAI Members projects, both in planning and completed. Deadline for submissions is Monday 30 January. For further information on the exhibition entry requirements, email codwyer@riai.ie

Who should attend?

Approved housing Bodies and Local Authority CEOs, Housing Director of Services, Senior Administration, Architects and other professionals, developers and companies involved in the delivery of housing, for sale or rent. RIAI Members and allied professionals involved in housing, urban design and planning.
