Planned as part of Galway’s Open House festival commencing on Thursday 11th October 2012 this exhibition dedicated to 21st Century Iconic Homes in the West is an unique opportunity for all registered Architects practicing in the West of Ireland to come together to showcase the best of domestic architecture designed and built locally since the year 2000. The launch of the exhibition is planned to take place at 6pm, Friday 12th October 2012 in “The Shed” exhibition space, Central Pier, The Docks, Galway.
Each registered Architect is invited to submit up to three domestic projects for consideration for exhibition. The submitted project can be a ‘new-build’, extension or refurbishment project, which has been constructed in the period since 2000. The project is to be set out on an A0 board containing photographs, drawings and a brief text description (The format of the A0 board will be dictated by a standard exhibition template which will be circulated to all interested parties at a later date).
