Art Deco Style at Inchicore Library 7th Nov

This talk will look at the architectural history of Inchicore Library with some thoughts on the Art Deco style as interpreted more generally in building design. A talk by Susan Roundtree, Senior architect with Dublin City Council on Wednesday 7th November at 6.30pm.

Susan Roundtree (Dip Arch, MUBC, M Litt, FRIAI) is an RIAI accredited Grade 1 conservation architect. Her post-graduate research includes an architectural history of Mountpleasant Square and an in-depth study of the history and use of clay brick as a building material in Ireland. On that topic she is co-author, with Shaffrey Associates and Dr Gerard Lynch, of the DoEHLG Advice Series booklet on the repair of historic brickwork.
