Consult an Architect and Help the Homeless

31.03.15

Have a burning question for an architect? Want to get advice on your home improvements without forking out big bucks? The Royal Institute or Architects Ireland and the Simon Communities of Ireland have organised the Simon Open Door again this year. On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May participating firms will open their doors to give people an hour’s consultation with an architect in return for a €55 donation to Simon.

In that hour’s consultation, architects can advise on extending your home, enhancing energy efficiency to reduce bills, maximising natural light, storage tips, even building a new home and much more.

2015 will be the 11th year that the Simon Communities of Ireland has been in partnership with the RIAI. To date over €300,000 has been raised for the Simon Communities of Ireland through the RIAI Simon Open Door initiative.

Consultations can be booked from 10am on Tuesday 14th April at www.simonopendoor.ie

This is NOT an IAF event. For more information please see www.simonopendoor.ie.
