Docomomo is pleased to announce the forthcoming event, a visit to Meander on the 20th October guided by Ruth O’Herlihy.

This is a unique opportunity to visit a truly inspiring House and be guided by an expert on the building. Meander is a cedar-clad detached house dating from 1939 designed by Alan and Máirín Hope. Long recognised as a fine example of Modernism in Ireland, it retains all original fittings and furnishings in a mature landscape context and is currently lived in by their grand-daughter and her family.
To attend please email docomomoireland@gmail.com with your name by September 20th, attendance is limited to 30 people in total, there is a fee of 5 euro per visitor (payable on the day). Tours will be given of the house and the garden in groups of ten.
