The Dublin Design Collective has created Dublin Tagged! in association with PIVOT Dublin. It’s aimed at encouraging people to rediscover their city. This exhibition is being funded by Dublin City Council as part of its PIVOT 2012 programme.
In Dublin, from the 6-12th November, you will find insights into Dublin city dotted around on large, individually crafted tags. These insights have been collected from a broad range of people, many of who are actively involved in making Dublin an even more dynamic and inspiring place.
In our central exhibition, at 4 Capel Street, you can also discover insights into Helsinki (the 2012 World Design Capital), as well as a map to help you discover all the tags within Dublin. A competition is being run to see who can find the most tags. At the end of the exhibition, as a thank you, those people whose memories were used on the tags will receive the key that unlocks their specific tag.
Dublin Tagged! is the mirrored exhibition of Helsinki Tagged! that took place in Helsinki last September, as part of a Helsinki World Design Capital 2012 event.
