Presented by the Friends of the National Gallery of Ireland, Reflections on 20 Years: Dublin Docklands” is a talk by architect Sean O’Laoire on Saturday 26 November. Sean O’Laoire has had a continuous engagement as a consultant with the renewal of Dublin’s Docklands since the inception of the process in 1987, to heading the consultancy team which prepared the last (draft) plan for the Dublin Docklands Development Authority area in 2008. His illustrated talk will chart that journey and make personal and critical insights on the way, as well as placing the process in its local and international context.
